CONGRATULATIONS to Elizabeth, Danielle, Justin and Sara whose work was chosen to represent Hope Valley Elementary and will hang in the Fuller Administration offices for the 2012-2013 school year. :)
Fourth Graders created tesselations to be raffled off as a fund raiser.
Rosara was honored to have her work chosen to be presented to the school board as greeting cards and a framed image was presented to the school board.

Self Portrait Project September 2011:
All students drew their self portraits, and added details that told the viewer a little about their likes and interests. They turned out so very well!

We had a fantastic adventure hiking in Utah...we calculated 108 total miles...phew! I put our pictures on goggle to share the beauty and wonder of the wild west.

8-31-2011 A surprise from Dad.. he brought 5 new chicks to our flock last night!! So tiny and cute, they are now the little littlest littles we have!

CAM Raleigh Contemporary Art Museum
4-26-2011: I just got home from an educators preview of this wonderful new museum and all I have to say is...
You have got to go and experience it ASAP!!
It is a nice open space with natural light and wonderful, personable and knowledgeable staff. Kudos to the student docents who gave us a tour!!
The two opening shows, Dan Steinhilber and Naoko Ito compliment each other very well.
I was so pleasantly surprised to walk into one of the pieces and find a whole new and unexpected experience inside. I can not tell you more, as you have to experience this for yourselves!!

We had a beautiful red tailed hawk come for a visit early yesterday. He was hoping for a chicken breakfast! Thankfully all of our girls were safe inside the chicken house directly under him.
